ONLINE COURSE

Anyone can be an actor with training, discipline and dedication. With this three-month course actors will find themselves on par with any actor from any national or international school fully capable of delivering a great performance. There are 4 Modules in this course. You can choose to participate in individual modules, a combination or all modules.

Description

In this course we focus on both the hardware as well as the software i.e. body, voice and craft committed to the holistic development of an individual. Participants will be trained in:

  • Monologue
  • Improvisation
  • Audition Techniques

There will also be exposure to various acting methodologies like the Stanislavsky System known as Method Acting. In India we have ‘The Natyshastra’ by Bharat Muni which encompasses every single aspect of Indian Classical Performing Arts. We will be working on a structure which encompasses aspects of different methodologies.

This is an Online Course and will be conducted via Google Classroom and Google Meet

  1. Please note that the course is rigorous.
  2. To have sufficient space to move around comfortably for the exercises while participating in this online class.

Amit Tiwari

Amit is an FTII Acting Graduate and a Kaifi Azmi award-winner. A theatre artist with Pierrot’s Troupe. He has been a part of the theater and film circuit in Mumbai, Bhopal and Delhi since 2006. He has acted and performed theatre shows with great actors – Padma Shri Tom Alter, Uday Chandra, Rakesh Bedi, Dr. M Syeed Alam, Hareesh Chhabra, Alok Chatterjee to name a few. Visiting faculty at Madhya Pradesh State Drama School. Former Head of Department of Indian Television Academy, Jaipur. Writer of ‘Gilheri’ at NFDC Writer’s Lab. Amit’s forthcoming films include I-PAD directed by Amit Rai & produced by Sheemaroo Films. SATRA KO SHADI HAI directed by Arshad Syyed & produced by John Abraham and Sujeet Sarkar. He is also a practitioner of yoga and naturopathy.
